Description
This beautiful housecoat was made in the 1940’s in France.
Made from textured cotton in a bold floral print it has some charming details including pleated sleeves which have finely gathered sleeve heads, a neat belt and darts to cinch in the waist.
Although originally designed to be worn at home, with the careful placement of some poppers this would make a fabulous maxi dress which would be perfect for summer.
Measurements
This will best fit up to a 36-27-38 but could be belted a little smaller. To ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust – 20″ in the front and 16″ in the back
Flat waist – 14.5″ in the front and 13″ in the back
Flat hip – 20″ in the front and 19″ in the back
Shoulders between sleeves 13″
Neck to waist 15″
Neck to hem 49″
Underarm sleeve length 4 3/4″
Flat cuff 5 3/4″
Condition
Beautiful. The piece is deadstock and still has the original tag on the side.
